Global Brand Audit Results!

On September 15th it was International Coastal Clean Up Day. 

#BreakFreeFromPlastic conducted a Global Brand Audit to determine which corporations are accountable for the plastic pollution problem that is suffocating our oceans.

Nearly 10,000 volunteers participated in 239 cleanups in 42 countries on continents, collecting over 187,851 pieces of plastic pollution.

The results are finally in and these are the top ten corporate brands found on plastic pollution collected during the global cleanup....

The whole reason behind this global cleanup and brand audit is to get these big corporations to take responsibility for the plastic that they produce, the plastic that is used once and discarded.
